Dreams Come True is a national charity incorporated in 1988 and which since then has brought joy to almost 5,000 children who are terminally or seriously ill, and which has also created wonderful memories for their families.
Dreams Come True and the other charities benefiting from the recycling of textiles, all realise that they cannot possibly be responsible for fundraising through recycling on their own. These charities also understand that it is reasonable for their recycling partners to make a profit – as long as there is full transparency and auditing of all figures.
For example, Byronswell’s shareholders make a continuing substantial investment in transport across Europe, vehicles for collections across the UK, warehousing, manpower, as well as the funding of other capital costs such as new textile banks and collection bags.
